Dispersing Agent
EUROSYN NO-8 is used as an auxiliary agent to improve the penetration of tanning agents and vegetable retanning agents. It can also be used in leather neutralization, as well as a leveling agent for dyeing and as an auxiliary for the penetration of acid dyes.
Once absorbed into the leather, at a pH above 4.2–4.5, it polymerizes and becomes fixed through the addition of chromium salts, tannins, or by lowering the pH to 2.8–3.0.
